I built these systems because I needed them
I run Goldsmith Property, my own letting agency in Bristol. Letting is full of small jobs that can't be dropped: an enquiry that needs a reply today, a viewing to confirm, a certificate that has to reach the tenant on time. Each one is simple. Together, they never stop.
So I started building systems to do them. One at a time, the agency's routine work moved over: applications assessed, viewings booked, calls logged, certificates checked and filed. Then I added a watchdog to check that every one of them actually ran.
Goldsmith Works is the company I set up to build the same kind of system for other small businesses. I start with businesses I understand from the customer's side, such as the gas engineers my agency sends work to every week.
